ACT Question:
1.) Clearly explain how you are able to identify the cause-effect relationships between your inspiration and its effect upon your work.
The similarity between my work and my artistic inspirations are quite obvious. With Henri Matisse the use of his color is reflected on my piece. How the colors are not exactly blended but still create an effect on the piece.
2.) What is the overall approach (point of view) the author (from your research) has regarding the topic of your inspiration.
The impressionist movement main goal was to portraying the rejection of an art style, which compares to my piece because I wanted to portray the feelings of the amount of work that has been staking up my world.
3.) What kind of generalizations and conclusions have you discovered about people, ideas, cultures, etc. while you researched your inspirations?
I can make the conclusion that a lot of students feel like this. Every time I shared my theme with someone they would identify themselves with the theme.
4.) What was the central idea or theme around your inspirational research?
The central idea surrounding the American Psycho was to portray the dangers in the city.
5.) What kind of inferences (conclusions reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning) did you make while reading your
research?
I can make the inference that the amount of people that identify themselves with my overall theme.
