"Portal"

Questions:
For this project I wanted to create a relationship between the land and the water, yet wanted to emphasize the body water. This is why I wanted to create a piece that when you enter the piece feel enclosed, once the person gets to the lake, a sense of relaxation and freedom embodies them. I want the viewers to think that the piece at beginning gives them anxiety, by later opening the piece little by little the viewer will relax. I will physically be made this way to emphasize the body of water. I personally think that if I was to turn the walls around the emphasis would be on the land and not the lake. It just doesn't make sense that the viewer goes from a relaxed position into a claustrophobic, it just wouldn't attract the viewer, especially if they can see what's next. I good way to attract people is to add mystery into a piece, by adding this touch of mystery public will walk into this path. I want to create a portal that transfers the public to another world, to this new place. I wish to add some benches at the end of the path where people can just sit and admire the beauty of the lake.
