Through the process of creating my block print, I had my theme always in my head. I wanted to create a piece of art that expressed a certain mood. I found a way to interpret my art within this specific theme. I believe this project helped me grow as a person and find my inner self, and see who I really am. It also helped me value what spending time a lone really means. Sometimes time alone helps us reflect and think on important decisions we will have to take in our life.

ACT Questions:
1.) Clearly explain how you are able to identify the cause-effect relationships between your inspiration and its effect upon your work.
When I compare my piece with my artistic inspiration, there is a visual connection between the pieces. As explained in the my artistic inspiration section, I talked about how I applied the techniques and tone that the artist used for his work. The effect of the peaceful silhouette just sitting in the tree, peacefully sitting and thinking.
2.) What is the overall approach (point of view) the author (from your research) has regarding the topic of your inspiration?
Charles Burns goal, was to commit, and express his feeling on paper. He wants to let the viewer know his love towards the art and the enthusiasm he puts into every single silhouette.
3.) What kind of generalizations and conclusions have you discovered about people, ideas, cultures, etc. while you researched your inspirations?
One conclusion I can make about Charles Burns is that he dedicated his time and soul, to his art work. It is easy to infer that this is what passionate him, making people happy, and making himself happy.
4.) What was the central idea or theme around your inspirational research?
The central idea between my piece of art and my inspiration's, was to create a sense of mystery by placing the silhouettes.
5.) What kind of inferences (conclusions reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning) did you make while reading your
research?
I can infer that silhouettes have been a great deal. Such that there are artist, just like Charles Burns that dedicate themselves completely to it.
